Western tropical natal chart and transit computation for the Vellum assistant.
What it does
Given a birth date, time, and location, computes:
- Planet positions in zodiac signs (Sun through Pluto)
- Ascendant and Midheaven
- Whole-sign house cusps
- Major aspects (conjunction, sextile, square, trine, opposition)
Given a date and optional natal positions, computes:
- Current transit positions for all planets
- Transit-to-natal aspects (what's activating your chart now)
How it works
All computation is local via astronomy-engine (VSOP87 planetary model, ±1 arcminute accuracy). No API keys, no network calls.

Skill

Usage
Ask the assistant for your natal chart or current transits. Provide your birth date, time, and location. The assistant calls the tools and interprets the results.
House system
Currently supports whole-sign houses (the oldest and simplest system). Each house corresponds to an entire zodiac sign, starting from the ascendant's sign as House 1.
